Doyle Shaw - 1947-
Doyle Dewis Shaw was born in Boise, Idaho and studied with Alvin Gittins at the University of Utah, as well as with LeConte Stewart in landscape painting. He also studied at Weber State College and the San Francisco Institute of Art. He has taught at the University of Utah and BYU, and has been noted as an excellent realist painter in both oil and watercolors of portraits, landscapes, and figures.
